Renew America Together Announces Second Class for its Civility Leadership Institute
Little Rock, ARK, (July 1, 2022)— Renew America Together was started with the belief that most Americans agree on many things. But the things they disagree on are causing our society to become more polarized. Over the past few years, we recognized the need for a program to empower Americans with the tools to better communicate with those they influence and those that try and influence them. For this reason, we created the Renew America Together Civility Leadership Institute. With the inaugural cohort graduating this month, we are excited to announce our next class comprised of individuals from 15 states.
“I look forward to bringing the first two cohorts together for our first Summit on Civility in Little Rock later this month. These leaders have different racial and ethnic backgrounds, geographic locations, career tracks, political beliefs, and industries. To see these dynamic individuals recognize the need for improved communication and civic engagement is encouraging,” said Renew America Together founder General Wesley K. Clark.
Participants will convene in Little Rock for the inaugural Summit on Civility in late July, then continue their work virtually for five months and participate in six months of follow-up. Each month they will work through an exciting curriculum, hear from dynamic, nationally recognized speakers, and strengthen their relationships with each other. In addition, Civility Leadership Institute graduates will receive professional certifications in Crucial Conversations for Mastering Dialogue, TypeCoach Influence Training, and participate in a six-month follow-up program to continue building relationships with one another and measuring their progress and accomplishments.
